Now That's What I Call Music
Now That's What I Call Music – The longest running and most successful music compilation of all time. We’ve worked for EMI, Sony and Universal on the Now franchise in both the UK, USA and South Africa and Israel since 1986.
"QD and Gary in recent years has created a house style which is picked up by the audience as both nostalgic and engaging,
with appeal to all NOW audiences. Constantly refreshing and modernising this core logo has kept the releases and the brand
at the forefront of the UK pop market for the intervening 27 years…
QD also design all the outdoor materials as well as the striking point of sale material for the numbered NOW releases.
As a result of this brand impact and consistency, NOW enjoys levels of brand awareness and recognition at the highest end
of any research data >90% and attracts many imitators."
Steven Pritchard, Co-Managing Director of NOW Music
"We started working with QD in the USA in 1999. For NOW, the brand design is our equity and we have only trusted QD with that since, virtually, our US launch. Maintaining a brand look at the same time as creating a new theme with every new release is challenging but QD have consistently done it for 20 years.
Besides the core NOW brand, currently at volume 67 in the US, QD has worked on other brand extensions including the upcoming 20th Anniversary album release which incorporates a modern take on NOW's iconic logo. Without a doubt, we would always recommend QD, as a creative agency, to others."
Jerry Cohen, Chief Operating officer, NOW Music (US)
"With its team of exceptionally talented and creative people, and their high level of professionalism, QD helped us make the NOW series the most successful compilation brand name in Israel.
Working over the years with the super talented QD team has always been fun and enriching. The brilliantly designed covers of our compilations are always efficient, fresh and effective! We would definitely keep on working with QD Design in the future and would warmly recommend anyone to work with this amazing company!"
Chain, Label Manager at Helicon Music (Israel)
"In 1997, the NOW brand in South Africa had seen a substantial decline in sales and revenue and was almost a non-entity.
The brand was relaunched in 1998 with a fresh look thanks to the creative input and designs from QD.
20 years later and the NOW brand is still the largest selling compilation series in the South African market with various spin off
titles released on an annual basis. The creative sleeve images from QD are always fresh, unique and each album stands out
at a retail level. I would highly recommend their services for any design needs."

How Did You Find Working
With QD Design?
Lee Cash, Managing Director,
Oakhill wanted a local design agency with experience within print design, brand identity, and e-marketing.
They wanted sleek and classy designs that reflect the type of property that they sell / let. Oakhill wanted to get across that they are in the high-end market; the designers at QD Design used the gold to communicate this.
We’ll ‘Never Forget’ where the band logo came from. Taking us back to our early roots in 1991, a simple story for us, but you never know where your brand might rise to with the right visual identity.
